First April Showers Birthday
When you baby is born in April and you like puns.....you throw an April shower themed birthday party for your little one year old baby girl!! It helps to be obsessed with cute, patterned rain boots and umbrellas so you have a lot to work with. We filled rain boots with pretty, spring blooms, created a lemonade stand from PVC pipe and plastic tablecloths, spread out a waffle bar with fresh fruit toppings and arranged a tantalizing spread of themed desserts. Cut out rain clouds with dangling raindrops and a paper flower banner were also used around the house to repeat the theme as well as little garden pots and metal watering cans filled with more spring blooms.
