wedding day magazine southwest Mi, fall/winter cover shoot

For the moody fall cover shoot, I chose blooms for their rich and moody tones and textures.  I wanted the florals to communicate excess and luxury so I chose blooms with high petal counts, statement shapes and plenty of variety.  I also wanted to work in high end blooms like orchids, ranunculus and dripping amaranthus to create lush and full arrangements.  The combination of variety, texture, rich colors and shape added to the "over-the-top" and romantic look.
