Garden Grandeur
2o20 has been a year of epic highs and epic lows. Sarah and Parker's wedding day was definitely an epic high. From the moment I met Sarah and heard her vision for her wedding day, I was captivated by the images swimming in my head of how her wedding day could look. When the day finally came, I was on pins and needles, excited to get started. Install did not disappoint. My team and I enjoyed every second of this day. We had so much creative energy to bring forth a lush, whimsical garden experience for Sarah and her guests, with floral. We decked the place out from top to bottom with greenery and florals from the doors of the ceremony entrance to the ceiling of the tent.
I don't always get to meet the family of my brides, but at our first consult, I was able to meet Sarah's lovely mother Melissa, and I enjoyed working with her just as much as I enjoyed collaborating with my sweet bride Sarah. So you can imagine my joy when I was able to create for them on this day of days. Hugs and smiles flew around as everyone prepared for the big moment when Sarah would begin her journey down the aisle to the man God had prepared for her. It was an incredibly wonderful day, blessed in so many ways. At the end of it all, the artist of all artists, the one who gave me my creative abilities, painted the sky for this couple in what was one of the most beautiful sunsets of the summer.
I hope you enjoy these photos, artfully captured by the talented Alyssa Schultz of Mae Photo Co. on the lovely grounds of Hydrangea Blu Barn. I hope, that as you view them, you will be able to see and feel the joy pouring from the faces of the jubilant families and friends gathered to celebrate Sarah and Parker, and that you will see how much more this job is to me than "just flowering" for your special day.
