THe heart of the home

This family living room got an update and refresh.  We painted the walls white and the fireplace a dark, dusty blue.  The fireplace surround was re-tiled with tile inspired by the blue kitchen at the home of the famous painter Claude Monet in Giverny, France.  We brought in pops of bright yellow on the walls in the decor and paired nicely with the natural textures and weaves of the baskets and the bright whites.
