A Colorful Girl's Nursery
Bright pops of color, soothing walls, patterns and toys all came together to create a sophisticated, yet fun baby girl''s room. This room was lacking in closet space for the little fashionista, so we turned a bookcase into an extra wardrobe with a curtain rod, some ribbon and a modified shower curtain.
Children are drawn to bright colors, they are stimulating and their developing eyes can see them better than soft neutrals. However, soft and soothing tones on the walls create a calming effect. Adding in pops of color to create interest and stimulation while keeping the walls a soft pink (a color proven to calm both adults and babies) transformed this room into a fun and fantastical nursery for a baby girl.
