Flowers come in all shapes and sizes. Not all flowers, however, are available for floral design. This is a guide to help you know what the different flowers look like, what colors they are available in, what some of the meanings behind the different flowers are, whether or not they are fragrant, what seasons of the year they are available and what price category they fall into.

Price Categories are low, mid and high. Also, keep in mind that most flowers are available year round but have peak seasons. Flowers have differing degrees of hardiness as well, some being very difficult to work with and some that hold up extremely well.

Agapanthus

Description: These sphere-shaped blooms are well known for their lavender color and modern look.

Description: With the look of mini lilies, these hardy, elegant flowers are very affordable and work especially well in corsages. They come with multiple blooms to a stem and can last well over a week.
