Sheep, Rainbows & Gardens
Bride Katie came to me with a limited budget and big garden dreams. We got creative with her budget and her gorgeous floral vision, and we had a great time planning and designing together. Her budget grew as well as the design as the process went on, and the final result was glorious (at least we all think so!). Colorful ground florals framing the aisle entrance, a triangle backdrop with color blocking florals, long tables of wispy bud vases and other floral touches throughout the beautiful property of Black Sheep Shelter. The flowers reflected the beauty, joy and love of this sweet couple. Bride Katie loved her flowers so much, especially the bright pink peonies, that she got one tattooed! I'm deathly afraid of needles, but I told her if I ever get over that, I will get one to match ;). This was a very special job because of what a wonderful person Katie was to work with and is one of my forever favorites!! It's also a great example of how big budgets aren't everything. I'm of course a fan of big floral budgets, but I also work hard help all my brides make the most of their resources whether their budget is big or small.
