Winter Wonderland
The weather outside was definitely NOT frightful for Allison and Lucas' incredible winter wonderland wedding! Straight from a fairy tale, lovely bride Allison carried an overflowing, hand-tied bouquet of pink, peach and red flowers. The striking contrast again her ivory gown covered in glittering beading and the freshly falling snow was more than stunning. It was a wedding full of wonderment and joy. We watched the weather carefully, prayed and hoped for no wind, fresh snow and temps just barely below freezing. The Lord delivered and the day couldn't have been more perfect. Floating candles in the fountain and loads of pillar candles around it along with luscious draping and chandeliers wrapped in vines of greenery all came together to create a gorgeous ceremony experience. The lush centerpieces were enhanced again by plenty of candlelight. The sweetheart table overflowed with candles and flowers, much of it re-used from the ceremony. We made sure to select florals and foliage that would weather the cold and stay beautiful all day. We couldn't have been more thrilled to work with Allison's incredible vendor team, led by the talented Stacy Horn of Juniper and Lace Events. All in all, this was an incredible winter wedding, and well worth the nail-biting and finger-crossing hoping and praying for the Northern Michigan January weather to cooperate!!
